Hey all!
Hope all is well in your wedding planning!

I’m planning my engagement parties. November 7th of this year.
I’m thinking about renting out a function room at a local restaurant pending everything goes back to normal.
What should I wear? Should I have a theme? When should I buy my dress? What should I buy for an outfit.
Sorry ladies, I have no idea what I’m doing !!
Happy wedding!

I think those are all up to you and your fiance. If there is a theme you want to play around with go for it. I have always heard the engagement party is like a practice to see what you like for the wedding. My fiance and I decided to do a bowling party because we both enjoy it. We decorated and dressed up a local bowling alley. My suggestion do a little brainstorming on how you want things to go and go from there.

Hi Alice! I would keep things simple! You don't need a specific theme for an engagement party, but plenty of people have been hosting "I do BBQs" for their engagement party or shower. You can wear whatever you want as well! I went all in and wore white dresses for every wedding event, but it's totally a personal call!
