Hi everyone! My sister is throwing me and my fiancé an engagement party in October and our wedding is planned for 2022. I want to get a personalized jean jacket for the engagement party but don’t know if it’s appropriate to put “Mrs.” or “Future Mrs” on the back. I feel weird putting “Mrs.” since we’re not married yet…but I also want to be able to wear this jacket after our wedding. I’d appreciate any advice please! Thank you in advance! Smiley smile

    I did Mrs. I got mine from deadly threaded and it’s very well made but pricey so I want to wear it more than the 9 months I’ve had it.

    It would be a little odd wearing a jacket that says "Mrs" when you are unmarried. I would also really think about if you will actually wear this jacket after the wedding. Like...think past the first few months of marriage, you're married for 3 years and you pull out this jacket. Are you going to throw it on for drinks with the girls?

    Get a jacket that says "Mrs". Use WASHABLE puffy fabric paint to add "to be"


    Some fabric paint is permanent. Some will peel right off.
    I agree with PP. Are you really going to wear a jacket that says "Mrs.' after you're married and the novelty has worn off?

    I wouldn't put "Future" or "Mrs" on there personally. Get something washable like Willow suggested, or maybe have the inside of the cuffs embroidered with "Miss to Mrs" on the left cuff and your wedding date on the eight cuff.

    I think I agree with this. I don't really think it's going to be very wearable much past your wedding. I'd just get the last name on the back if you want a personalized jacket. It doesn't say it's your name now, just the name you're wearing on your jacket! At least... that's the way my crazy mind works, haha!

    I agree with Hannah. H and I have been married nearly four years and I don't wear any of the "Mrs" stuff that I collected along our engagement - luckily, since we were only engaged 6 months, there isn't much
