Engagement Party Food on Budget, Desserts and Decorations.

Hello Everyone, I'm trying to decide whether to do an engagement party or not. I'm already dreading spending 35-40K on a wedding Smiley sad, but at first I wanted to have an engagement party because all my friends had one. Now, I'm having doubts due to being a bit pricey. Any Ideas on a good Budget Food Ideas for 55 guests? If it's reasonable and I can either cook or do some part of it i'll be great! Thank you all for the ideas!!

    Having an engagement party isn’t necessary at all. So, if you’re only doing it because your friends did, then that’s not a great reason, especially if you’re having to skimp on a tight budget. Save yourself the money and stress!

    I agree with pp but if you're really adamant about it then of course cheese and crackers and simple things like that could suffice
