Engagement Party Thank-you's

Hi all! My family threw FH and I a wonderful Engagement Party yesterday, it was so sweet! I know that we (meaning I lol) will be writing thank-you notes for the gifts we got, but is it customary to write thank-you notes for the card we got as well? I have known the woman who gave us the card for a long time and am positive she will be giving us a gift at our Bridal Shower later. Do I write her a thank-you for her card or mention it later in the thank-you for her gift later?

    You could write her a thank you for being a part of your special day (the party) you don’t want her to feel slighted by being excluded from thank you cards

    Write thank you notes right away, for each event. And also as soon as you get gifts delivered outside of events.

    I don't think you have to, but it would be nice to thank her for attending, especially if you've been close for a long time
