Engagement Party Tips?

Chantelle, on September 22, 2020 at 4:37 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 2

Hello! My engagement outdoors picnic party is coming up. The event area includes a large picnic shelter and a grass field. Filipino and Peruvian lunch foods will be provided, along with Sangria/other refreshments, and other potluck items, etc. The total amount of people will be 25-30 guests consisting of our immediate families, the wedding party/ their significant others, and other best friends (my boyfriend and I share all of the same mutual friends so we are all very close). Does anyone have any tips to make it more fun I guess? Or more entertaining/memorable/games? What did you do at your engagement party or what have you seen that worked out really well? Thank you in advance!

The extras that I have so far:
General wedding sign
Fall decor/Fall photo backdrop
Engagement picture props
Couple Fun Facts per table

XOXO Tic Tac Toe table sets
Cornhole
Soccer balls/goals
? Possible line dancing
? Beer pong table lol
? Ring toss area
? Memory jar where guests share memories of us
? Or games that guests need to write something

Idk. Stuff like that. I'm not sure if 25-30 people is too large to play games that involve writing. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

I think games, music and food & drink you are good. Make it a truly chill environment and people will socialize. I think you will have fun. But again have food because for me that is the most important lol.
