Engagement Party

Mandee, on November 1, 2019 at 11:14 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 4

I'm pretty sure I've got most of the etiquette down as far as the actual wedding/parties/etc. That being said.....who throws the engagement party? Is it us? My parents? My friends?

Help!!

Anyone besides the couple can host pre-wedding events. If any of these people offer, you can accept, but you shouldn't ask them.

Whoever offers to host. All the ones I've been to have been hosted by parents (bride or grooms).

Agree with PP's. You get those parties only if someone offers, and you shouldn't ask anyone to do it for you.
