Engagement Party

Kate, on February 2, 2020 at 5:19 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 3
I’m looking for some advice. We are having an engagement party in about a month. I have no idea what I’m doing. 😅 What I do know is it will be low-key; drinks and pub type food at a favorite hang out.

What else am I supposed to do? Should I have some sort of registry ready or something? Did you have a cake? Or what other touches?
Thank you for any help!

I think a dessert would be nice. But we didn't do a registry, some people brought little things here and there but I think the engagement party is similar to a gender reveal. Most people don't do gifts and then the bridal shower is = to the baby shower, where that is pretty standard for gifts and registries. Smiley smile

It’s your party, you do you!

Gifts aren’t necessary, but I’ve noticed a trend of people attaching their wedding websites to the invites so people know where to find their registry but subtly. Did actually help them get a few extra gifts.
