Engagement Photo attire

If you have a chance to do two outfits, I definitely recommend it! My fiancé and I did our engagement shoot in DC, and we did some of the more fancy places (like the monuments) in more dressy clothes, and then some parks in more laid back clothes. Seriously best decision, plus I felt like I got double the photos to post haha! I attached similar posed photos in both outfits for reference!

Wear whatever you want! We wore jeans and nice tops for ours

We did two different outfits.

We did a set with our favorite team jerseys, and another set with nicer clothes (though not super fancy).

If you're a casual couple, than pick clothes you feel comfy, but nice in. Talk to your photographer, they always have ideas.

Where will the photos be? A park?

I went with a dress because putting together tops and bottoms was too much for me...I also have a simple style and wearing a dress just simplified it. That said nothing wrong with jeans and a cute flattering top or a skirt, tights and sweater (assuming it's cold where you are). Pair either with some cute booties and viola.

We are jeans people fir the most part. We will do jeans and white buttin ups. I'll wear colorful heels and he us doing colorful tennis shoes.
Them we are changing into matching jackets with our names in it and matching tennis shoes.

I just had my engagement shoot this past Saturday and was also stressing over an outfit. I bought so many different options and ended up just wearing something I already owned.

I wore jeans and a grey sweater with little booties.

I will say, it also depends on where you live! We're in CT and just had about 2 feet of snow dumped and Saturday was perfect temperature but the wind was wicked and freezing, by the end of the shoot my shoes were soaked through and my feet were FROZEN, we did bring a nice big fluffy white blanket that we were able to wear in between photos to warm up and even included in some photos, so definitely dress weather appropriate! There was another couple at the same location we were taking pictures and she was in a cute dress and booties but I don't know how she survived in the cold lol
