Engagement photo outfits for fiance

I think jeans would be okay with a button down shirt or khakis if you wanted to go a little nicer. I've seen plenty of engagement photos with the groom in jeans. Since your dress is nice, I would suggest he wear a nicer shirt and not a T-shirt. I did have my H match my colors (we both wore green because we were getting married on St. Patrick's Day). I definitely don't think that's necessary, so if your FH doesn't have clothes that match, I don't think he needs to buy something just to match. For ours, our photographer suggested an outfit change, so we did some dressed up (my H is a casual guy so his dress up was a polo shirt and grey pants) and we did some casual in T-shirts and shorts. Both came out cute IMO. Does your FH have any thoughts on what he wants to wear? It's a lot of pictures, so I would opt for letting him wear something he's comfortable in vs. trying to match your colors. It's a beautiful dress.

Hey Felicity! I love your dress, you look beautiful! What would your FH wear on a normal day, or if you were going out to dinner? You want to ensure that he is comfortable in whatever outfit he decides to wear. It's no vital that he matches you but complementing each other can look great. I don't think Jeans would look too casual but perhaps he could wear a shirt to dress them up a little.
