Lulus! I got one of my engagement photo dresses from there as well as my rehearsal dinner dress! They have great stuff for really good prices!

Asos, Fashion Nova, ModCloth, Etsy and eBay have pretty wide inexpensive selections.

If you're not a dress-up person then I wouldn't wear a dress just for pictures. Lots of engagement photos are taken in tshirts/sweaters and jeans and they look very classy. Just wear a cute top with nice jeans and shoes.


If you really want a dress, go inexpensive at Ross or Burlington.

I found a really, cute inexpensive ($25) dress on Amazon for my engagement photos. Amazon has everything. Lol! Good luck!

I would check on amazon and also stores like ross, khols and jcpennies have a lot of sales going on.

Baltic born sells a dress called the Athena that’s stupid comfortable and very forgiving. Flowy clothes look really good in professional photos per my photographers recommendation so that’s what I went with. They have every color you could need in that dress

Lulus! And I agree with the long flowy dress comment. It adds movement to the pictures and makes things look natural and less posed ☺️

Shein! They have a ton of stuff for cheap!

How about Amazon? They have very affortable dresses..some on the casual side but very cutr and some on the more formal side...

We don't have a Burlington and our Ross sucks. I want to dress up because I don't get the chance to do it often. I wear my regular types of clothes for our Christmas family photos. I want to dress up for US because it's a big event in our lives.

Congratulations on the weight loss!!! That is a job all by itself! Ive started to only order from sites that share their fit guide and take actual measurements, then go one size bigger than the one I'm measuring into it's a chore, I swear LOL

This is what I wore for engagement photos. I got it at Ross. I also saw similar dresses at Target. I can't afford $100 for a dress to wear either. This dress I will keep wearing. So cute!
