Engagement Photo Outfits

We did a formal outfit, our hockey jersey's, and our Pixie band shirts (the night we got engaged we put them on when we were going to bed. We were out of town so I thought it was cute we brought the same band shirt.)

I wore an old dress I found from an event years ago. I literally searched for a new outfit for a MONTH for these dang pictures and ultimately decided on wearing this one. I wanted to do a flowy floral dress but they just never looked right on my bod so this was it!

H&M about 15 bucks or so.

This was the one outfit my DH and I picked. We only had an hour so we didn't want to waste time changing. I made him pick a shirt first and then I bought a dress (H&M) that worked with what he chose.

We took ours in the fall and had two outfits (a formal-ish outfit and a casual outfit)!

We did simple casual outfits for our engagement photos. We both wore jeans and snow boots. He wore a plaid shirt and I wore a solid long-sleeve tee. Our only change was wearing our jackets for some.

We did a casual and a formal outfit.

We did some in the summer AND in the winter as we won a free engagement photo session but couldn't afford that photographer (summer) then the photographer we booked offered a free session with her wedding package (winter).

I only like pics 1, 4 and 5.

I found out from looking at these pics that I do NOT like side views of myself, so that is something that the photographer and I will discuss for day of photos

All these pics are gorgeous! I wanted to do a long flowy dress but it's so not my normal style that it felt weird so I ended up with a short white dress.

We did a formal outfit (my off-the-shoulder wine-colored, body con dress and his suit) and then a semi-formal one (my maxi, lace wine-colored dress and a button down shirt and slacks for him)!

Ugh!!! the winter ones are gorgeous! Our original plan was snow but it barely snowed that year

Outside with the red rock background a yellow dress was a perfect choice! It was comfortable photographed well! Pick something that makes you feel pretty and not too busy prints! Have fun! I was so shy I front of the camera but surprisingly my FH was a pro! Lulu's is always my go to!
