Engagement photo outfits?

I like the navy dress the best as the others look like they have a lot going on.

I vote the blue dress. I think his shirt goes really well with it as his is red and blue. I think that the first two dress although super cute are a little busy for photos. I wore a patterned shirt and jeans to mine and I had to pick a different save the date than I originally wanted because I couldn’t words over my outfit you couldn’t read them. With a solid color outfit it made that a lot easier! I would also stick with the blue and not green because your photos are outdoors and you want your green to blend in to the trees in the background of your photos.

I think the plain navy dress. It matches his shirt the best. The others are cute but they’re kind of busy for engagement photos. But if that’s who you are and you like them, definitely go for it. I just think with outside photos, the navy is the best choice.

I agree with the others on the patterns. It's hard to put words over them/they don't always photograph well.

That said, you can always bring one of the patterned dresses and change, so you can have some pictures for STDs and some for yourself.

Agree on solids usually being better, but the green dress has a bit of ruffle and movement which is really good for engagement pictures (think if you are walking together and it swings and flares out) - less likely to look too clingy or hang awkwardly.
