Engagement Photo Props??

Hey brides and grooms! I've been lurking for a while, and I didn't see any posts about this so I figured I would ask - I always see engagement photo ideas with props like burlap signs of the wedding date, flowers, etc. What are your opinions on props for engagement photos? I've been lurking for a while, and I didn't see any posts about this so I figured I would ask - I always see engagement photo ideas with props like burlap signs of the wedding date, flowers, etc. What are your opinions on props for engagement photos?     We're definitely not doing props. Not planning on doing formal engagement photos either (prom poses aren't our style, and FH doesn't like having his picture taken in the first place).

    I think we're going to have our friends visit and one will carry a camera around the city with us and get some candids. Hopefully a few turn out Smiley smile

    We had some real sunflowers in some of the photos and we brought two "fall colored" blankets to sit on

    We used a blanket in a couple of ours and they were perfect! We also used our wedding date made of wood numbers. My plan was to use one of those pics for our STD. They were cute but didn't use them.

    If I could trust my dog off a leash, he totally woulda been in our pics.

    All you need is a good location and good photographer!
