Our photographer, Reena Rose Photography , is someone FH knows from work. FH is a high school sports journalist and Reena is an award winning newspaper photojournalist as well as an award winning wedding and events photographer . Hiring her was a no-brainer for us and we couldn't be happier.
Working with her at the Cherry Blossom Festival was fun. It was a bit overcast, slightly crowded and a tad drizzly, but that didn't stop us from making the most of it. I had an air cast on for tendinitis, but we made it work and my doctor allowed me to switch to a regular shoe for the shoot. (See the "Cinderella" photo.) Reena totally encouraged us when we decided to be silly and kinda let us do our own thing with it. Normally, you don't see people pretending to bite or lick each other's faces, so she would laugh and snap away and we just kept going. My favorite photos are the ones of me sticking the blossoms in FH's ears!
