Well, let me preface this post by saying we had to reschedule our engagement photos twice before we took them!
However,

They came out AMAZINGLY! I can't wait for our photographer to retouch them so I can finally post them and make my STD's. I am so happy that we chose our photographer. They are amazing.

Did you all take engagement photos? How long did you wait after the proposal?

Our engagement photo shoot came with our package. We got engaged in September right before the holidays then work got busy and planning took over and we didn't end up scheduling and taking engagement photos until May. oops! We didn't use them for save the dates but they will go on our website and we will be ordering quite a few prints.

We got engaged in June 2018, and took our photos in the middle of a huge snow storm in Jan 2019 and used them for our STDs. We'll be married in less than two months!!
It was freezing!!

We got engaged in February and took ours in May. I went on vacation in June and wanted to do them before my photographers super busy season since she had to travel about 2 hours to us. We are sending out our STD’s with the pics included next week for a July 2020 wedding!

We're skipping them all together! Just another thing to research, schedule, pay for and plan.. Plus, besides Save the Dates and your wedding website, they are pretty much useless after the wedding since you get so many couple pictures at the actual wedding lol. I do love looking at others engagement pics but it stressed me out so I said skip!

You’re not late at all. We got engaged last July, got our engagement photos done this past June, and wedding is next July. I’m still waiting on my photos from my photographers as well...I know they’re going to be amazing and worth the wait, but I’m getting antsy to see them!

We recently took our engagement pictures too and I loveeee them! My photographer sent us a sneak peek, but I can't wait to get them back. We'll be using them for our STD. We got engaged in September of last year and we just took our pictures two weeks ago.

I took them but it was just with my moh and her nice camera aha we did take one of the photos and printed it really large and displayed it at our wedding

We got engaged November 2018 and plan on taking them next month. I was finishing up grad school then "wedding season" happened. We were suppose to take them last weekend, but it stormed lol. As long as we take them while we are engaged, right? 🤷🏾‍♀️

We waited quite a bit, we got engaged August 2018 and didn’t take them till this past May lol. FH had an extremely hectic schedule and so did our photographer, but we didn’t really mind because our wedding isn’t until October 2020. We loved them and they were definitely worth the wait!
