Engagement Photos Purposes

We're framing two of them to set out at the entrance of the wedding (by the guestbook area). We didn't send out STD cards. We thought about printing them for Christmas for our parents but didn't get around to it. We both have a copy we took to work to put at our desk. My package came with engagement shoot so I just went with it.

I’m hoping to use those photos like a black card lol I want to use them on the little thank you labels that are going on the favors. I want to use as a Christmas card. Also want to send it to family at least those who still frame and display photos

We used them on our save the dates, the invitations and I really want to use them in a book as our guest book but FH doesn't really like that idea.

For the wedding or just in general?

We printed one on a large canvas and it's in our entryway. We used that at the wedding. We also have some photos hung up around the house. And we used them on our wedding website.

I've also seen people make a photo guest book, thank you cards, custom stamps for invitations, table numbers, or on a cake.

We used them for or STD’s but are also having some framed and placed out at our reception by the card/gift table.

Parents’ Christmas/mother’s day gifts; around the wedding; used them on some custom thank you cards too!

We're using them on our welcome table. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to have nicer pictures around the house haha.

I love this question because it’s a good one. In actuality, outside of using the photos at your wedding, thank you cards and maybe printing 2 enlarged pictures for the house, there isn’t much else to do with them. For my first wedding we took e-pics and we use one photo at the wedding. One other was on the mantle....And that was it. Lol!!! Our thank you photo was a pic from the wedding.


I figure our guests don’t really need to look at pictures of us if we’re there in the flesh. And we definitely don’t need multiple pictures of us around the house wearing the same outfit. So FH and I are determining if it’s worth it. We’ll see!

Hanging some in the house. Maybe doing a board at the wedding.

Planning to use ours for Xmas cards and gifts for the grandparents. Plus of course printing one for the house. I’m not sure if we’re doing save the dates. We’re getting married out of state and then having a reception at home so idk yet.

We will use them for decor around the wedding and our home. We also used it for our alternative guest book.

I'm looking forward to having some professional photos of us that don't have Disney characters in them.

We took pictures with my FH's dog. He wanted some good shots of her as she is getting old. We are gonna frame a good shot of us with the dog, but otherwise we are just using them for wedding stuff, like STDs, photos at the reception, possibly a slideshow for the projector during cocktail hour.

We're also planning to have some at our wedding on a display.
I'm sure my parents will enjoy one as well. Maybe his too.
They weren't much extra, and it gives us a chance to meet with our photographer and get a feel for each other and how we should work together.

We used them to make into wine bottle labels as our wine bottle guestbook. We also printed them out onto stickers for our welcome bags. May print a few small pictures to put on the guestbook table or card table. Aside from that, we're probably going to print one or two out for our house.

Honestly? Our engagement photos were taken at home by me and my daughter and I used it as my profile picture on fb. I might have one or two printed out at some point though and hang them up
