Engagement photos taking very long

I get married this January and recently got engagement pictures taken on August 4th.
When I asked my photographer how long it would take for them to be done, she said 2-3 weeks. About a week after we took the pictures, I got a sneak peak of our pictures (around 15 pictures).
At the 3 week mark when I did not receive pictures I asked if she had an idea when they would be done. And she told me they would be done by the end of the week (that was 2 weeks ago).
I messaged her last Thursday about the contract having the wrong wedding date and she replied the next day saying she’d have the pictures to me by the end of the night.
Its now been 4 days since she said that. I’m extremely frustrated that she keeps telling me be done and they’re not.
It has now been almost 6 weeks. Should I ask again for an update on when the pictures will be done? I love our photographer, she takes amazing photos. I’m just frustrated at how unprofessional this is.
What should I do?
