Engagement Photos

I have to say, leading up to our engagement photo session, I found myself SO anxious and nervous about how I was going to look and feel and when the day came and we arrived to our shooting location, I forgot all about those nervous feelings. We are our own biggest critic and I find that so important to understand after the fact! A friend of mine gave me some really good advice and i thought I’d share because it made a world of difference when going through this part of the wedding planning process. She told me to wear something I was 100% comfortable in first and foremost and to just have fun with it. She also said something that stuck with me that there are always going to be photos that you find unflattering or all those criticisms come to mind but then there will be SOOOO many that you love. Above all and regardless you will end up loving them all bc they are pictures of you two and that’s all that matters. She was 100000% right because out of the 95 pictures we received, there are so many i love and get to cherish forever. So all and all if you were feeling like me, googling ways to calm down before the shoot, gain self confidence overnight, etc. STOP!! We are all beautiful in our own ways and most of all, it’s all about love and regardless of anything else, that’s the most beautiful thing in the world. XOXO
