Any ideas for where to take engagement photos in the fall near Richmond??? I really want that autumn background. I'm planning on taking photos Oct 31! Thanks in advance!

Hey Joy!! Have exciting to be planning your engagement shoot!
Are there any local park or wooded areas near you that would lend itself to that ‘autumn background’?
Have you discussed the location with your photographer yet? They might have some great suggestions for you if they are used to working locally.

First place that comes to my mind is Belle Isle. There is also Maymont if you don't mind the possibility of paying a little extra.

Straight from Maymont's website:
"Maymont also offers many beautiful backdrops for bridal, family and senior portraits. Maymont Foundation welcomes the use of its grounds for photography, but reservations and payment are required for special photography and videography including films, commercials, advertisements, and portraits.

Monday-Thursday
10am-7pm, April-September
10am-5pm, October-March
No weekend sessions booked from April-October. Limited weekend sessions available November-March, no more than one month in advance.
$30 per two-hour session; dressing room available for an additional $50. Full payment required at time of booking via credit card."
