I've been engaged since February and I still haven't done my engagement photos. I'm wondering if it's really necessary. Did anyone skip doing their engagement photos and do you regret it?

    We got engaged August 2019 and getting married on Saturday. We were going to do them like 4 or 5 months ago but decided to skip it.

    Honestly we have so many couple pictures it wasn’t necessary.

    We’ve been engaged for a year, getting married Oct 2020, and doing engagement pics next month. I wasn’t sold on the idea, but our photographer said it would help us feel more comfortable come the day of. It’s only $150 for us and I think I’m going to turn one into our save the date. It was a “why the heck not” decision lol
