I got my engagement dress from Amazon!

I too plan on ordering from Amazon. Our photos are November 6th, so I'll order 4 options in each color at the end of October

and see what fits best, and send the rest back. Our wedding colors are dark green, ivory, and gold, so I'll be sticking to those colors.

Depends on what time of year you're doing engagement photos! Ours are in October in New England, so I'll be wearing black leggings and a gorgeous emerald green sweater I got off Amazon!

I got my dress from Nordstrom, and a cute lace crop top from somewhere cheap which I wore with jeans.

I think finding something that really represents you/your personality or style, as well as making you feel good is the most important thing.

I have been looking on Amazon and deff think having a few options is a great idea. I’ll deff check out the other places as well.Our colors our navy blue and lilac, I also want to find something to go with his Army uniform. But not black as our two dogs will be in the photos as well. Lol

I got my dress from Amazon! Here's the link to a discussion I posted that has photos of it! It was super comfortable, not see through, and true to size. The only issue was the top being a little big, but it wasn't too bad to where you'd notice!

I got a long chiffon skirt from Amazon and a flowy bodysuit from Express for mine. Definitely make sure you’re comfortable in whatever you’re wearing. If you feel unlike yourself in your outfit, it will translate into your photos. If you don’t love dresses, maybe wear a pair of dressier jeans and a nice top.

I have this ivory dress it's more of a taupe tan color the green is more of a bright green then dark green

We were originally planning on doing ours next month on the beach, but I decided I wanted a little more time to lose some weight, and I prefer the fall colors, so we're getting ours done in late October now. I get two outfits so I plan on wearing this long sleeve dress from lulu's for one outfit and then jeans, a cream/white sweater and either boots or booties.

We are doing a beach theme wedding so we went in beach wear and we’re so comfortable.

I didn’t know that brides wore dresses for engagement dresses outside of Pinterest. Browse local stores like Burlington, Ross, Macy’s or look online. Steer clear of Amazon because the quality is hit or miss with third parties. Unless it’s a national chain such as Torrid, make sure you confirm via Google whether the shop is a scam or not. If it is based in China such as Ever-Pretty or JJs House, steer clear of them as you may not get what you order.

I was inspired through Pinterest pictures! It’s also helpful to think about where you want to take your engagement pictures and then base your outfit off of the color scheme that will compliment the background of your pics. I got mine off of a third party seller once I knew exactly what color and style I was looking for
