Engagement photos

This totally depends on your photographer. Many of them (but not all) include an engagement session in the package if you also book them for your wedding. If you are looking to book just an engagement photo session, it again depends on what the photographer charges and how long you want the session to be (thirty minutes? an hour? two hours?), but it can range anywhere from $50 to $500.

This is going to vary A LOT according to your location, and also just from one photographer to another. Of course higher cost of living areas are going to cost more than lower cost of living areas (ie, A photographer in New York is going to charge more than a photographer in a small Midwest rural community). Established photographers who have been doing this for a long time will tend to charge more for their services, as they are more experienced and more in-demand. You also have to take into consideration how long you would like the photo session to be and whether there will be wardrobe changes. Also, don’t forget to take into account the location of the shoot. If they will have to travel, there will be an additional travel fee and mileage. And if they have to pay for parking, you will also likely have to cover that charge (Just little extras to think about and plan for). And don’t forget to calculate in the tip! Your best bet is going to be to research photographers in your area, choose the ones that have the aesthetic you are going for, and reach out to them for price quotes. Make sure you check out their websites, as many of them list their package prices there. Also, you could get a price cut if you plan to book the same photographer for your engagement shoot and your wedding. If you have budget constraints, you could search Instagram for talented up and coming photographers.

All vendor costs are going to vary. It usually depends quite a bit on where you live-- city vs. rural. My advice for price comparisons is to find a forum or FB page for nearly-weds in your region. They'll also be able to recommend specific vendors and companies.
