It’s the busy season for weddings. Try to be patient would be my advice. I know how hard it is.

Have you reached out to the photographer? If you signed a contract, you could also look there. He may have said 3 weeks, but the contract may say longer. Good luck!

I agree with Paige. I would check your contract and see how much time he has based on the contract you signed. If it also says 2-3 weeks, I would reach out to him. You can just ask him what the status of receiving your engagement photos is.

Since he is doing it at no charge, I would give him additional grace time. After all, he is probably going to put the paying customers first. It is a business after all

Reach out and just say you’re really excited to see the photos and does he know when they’ll be ready. Since he’s passed his own deadline I don’t think there’s anything wrong with reaching out.

For our video we told we’d get it back in 2-3 months and we didn’t. At 3 months I reached out and asked for a status and got an “omg I’m so sorry I thought you had it!” Lol. So I’m really glad I asked!
Photographers are busy and flustered a lot and you don’t want to bug them of course but nothing wrong with a little poke to check the status if they’ve passed their self-imposed deadline.

Then send an email or call and ask him about it if that will make you feel better.

My photographer told me 4 weeks and it's been 9. In so annoyed. Dobt give a time frame if you cant make it. And everyday she tells me shes gonna send the link to my gallery. And nope. I've talked to a few other brides and they had issues with her too. I'm scared of how long it will take for wedding pics.

We took our photos just a day before yours and we don't have ours (so just over a month now), although he told us to give him a month. We already have reached out as we would like to get Save the Dates made and sent out pretty soon, and he was responsive and it seems like it will be more like 6 weeks. It definitely is a busy time for photographers with lots of weddings in fall. I would reach out letting him know that you realize he is super busy but you wanted to request an update on when you can expect the photos. I don't think it is time to panic yet, but I totally get how you want those photos.
