Engagement pic advice please!

Hair and makeup is not necessary! I did my own and the pictures turned out great. Thought process wise just focus on your fh and the future you are approaching. This is one of the first steps in your journey towards the big day. As for when actual photos happen be vocal about anything that makes you feel uncomfortable pose wise. I have Made this mistake many times and been given awkward photos. Even if you are nervous have fun! See if your fh will just have a conversation with you or make you laugh during photos. In regard to outfits, we did three outfits. I loved the variety in the photos.

Lol i agree with how u feel! I think our best pics were when we were paying attention to each other and ignoring our photographer

i wore 3 outfits and did my own makeup with my natural hair. for one of the outfits i literally wore ripped jeans lol. it’s supposed to be about you as a couple and you’re supposed to feel comfortable to be yourself as well! wear what you love and what helps you feel beautiful and id say the same for hair and makeup!

My fiance's friend does some photography on the side so we used her for engagement pics. I didnt want to spend a ton of $$ on those, but I also hear it helps you get used to your wedding photographer if they do your e-pics too. It was definitely more comfortable with someone we knew. The weather was kind of crappy so we took the pics we could and it was a fun afternoon! I hate attention on me too but it actually wasnt so terrible !

UGH. I feel you. We have our photos on Monday. I am only wearing one outfit and I am having my hair and makeup done. I am not worrying about changing outfits and where to do it and all that stuff. I am having my hair and makeup done just because I cant do my own hair and I want a little bit "more" makeup then I wear on a daily basis.
