Engagement Pictures: Overrated or Underrated?

Before we had ours done, I thought they were overrated... but then I kept seeing them from other couples on here, Facebook, Instagram, etc etc and changed my mind. I'm so glad I did!!! My FH and I never had any professional photos of us together, so I thought this was a great opportunity to FINALLY have nice pictures together! We both love airplanes and both went to an aviation school (where we met). Our venue is also at an aircraft museum and we will be getting married in an airplane hangar there! Overrated unless you get them for free with your photographer!

Absolutely underrated!!! I think they're a great way to test out the photographer you want to photograph your big day to make sure you click with them and they have the talent you're looking for. Also, it gives you as the couple a chance to show your more typical style and be yourself.
