Engagement Pictures.

OMG LOVE THESE!! We had our engagement pictures taken at an airport and we got married at an aviation museum, surrounded by over 50 airplanes!!

Those pictures came out so good. I just love those. Congratulations!!

We totally lucked out with the
makeup artist and the photographer, as both were talented, sweet, and put us at
ease. I often doubt myself and the life
decisions I am making, wondering if I made the right decision(s), and if I
could have done it differently (done better) – but with my vendors so far, I
feel that I am on the right track.

This engagement photo shoot was
beneficial as we got to capture special memories before the wedding madness
ensues, that sometimes you can’t quite capture on the special day (as it passes
by so quickly with so much going on). The engagement pictures were a good way
to try out our potential vendors and capture some special memories and be left with
some very special pictures.

Needless to say we are hiring the
makeup artist I had used that day and the photographer, and highly recommending
them. I often get really tense and awkward when taking pictures, but Shawna put
us at ease, and was directing us where to walk, what to do, what pose to do,
and had done a lot of research as to what should be happening when (you could
tell this wasn’t her first rodeo). Shawna was very kind, well prepared (she was
early, and we were running late), hysterically funny, and we happened to love
her creative artistic preference with the way she edited our pictures. Some pictures
were edited to be darker, to be more dramatic and romantic, to fall into the
vision of our romantic vintage aviation/travel theme based photo shoot. We also
love the fact we got our pictures put online in a photo gallery, so it’s easier
to share the link with family and friends.

I happen to love my wedding
photographer, Shawna, the one we finally ended up selecting - if you guys are in the DFW area, I highly
recommend meeting her in person.
