Engagement Ring in Healthcare

Emily, on December 7, 2019 at 2:14 AM Posted in Style and Décor 1 9

I'm loving showing off my engagement ring but I work in healthcare and am constantly washing my hands, putting on/taking off gloves for patient care, etc. I hate the thought of losing a diamond, getting super dirty, or it ending up in the trash Smiley surprise

I don't want to wear it on a necklace. Has anyone found a good silicone ring they?

I used to be a dental assistant. I now work whenever my old dentist needs someone, which is rear. Whenever i do and i put on gloves, thats the one thing i worry about. But i bought my fh a groove ring and he loves it. Rarely takes it off. Plus i just love their customer service. You can look into it.

I like my Enso ring, I wear it to work out. They come in a lot of different colors.

My fiancé and I have enso rings and like them! I work with nurses who have had them for years and like them. They said after a few years they get a little loose so we will probably just get new ones when they wear out! The rings are not very expensive

I'm a Trauma nurse and I agree with the enso rings! I love all the different colors, but def size down if you're between sizes.

I'm not a nurse, however I am a Flight Attendant and in a similar working environment. Lots of hand washing, gloves, working with equipment. My ring is actually misshapen now and cracked so we are having it repaired. Our jeweler is giving me a set of the silicone rings complimentary to wear to work and I'm so excited and grateful. It's interesting how many people, including the men I work with, are wearing these silicone rings now to save their actual wedding rings from damage.

My wife and I have both invested in the more expensive name brand rings like Enso and Qalo. They were fine, but it seemed silly to spend $20-$25 on a piece of rubber. We looked for alternatives on Amazon and both have multipacks of 10 rings for $12. You would never know the difference.

I'll go a slightly different route and suggest ringbadits!

It's a small/cute little hair tie looking bracelet that holds your rings pretty well. I highly suggest them. I know it's not the same as having a ring on your finger in general, and I like a lot of other PP's suggestions on that, but I like this too just so you have your ring physically on you in some kind of way. Smiley smile

I'm a doctor and worried about wearing my ring all the time.

For the first month I didn't wear it and wore a silicone band (even though we're not married yet) because I felt bare without it. I hated leaving it at home and felt sad I couldn't see it. I also hate going to the gym with it! I am going to try the ring bandit.

Yes I like my Enso ring a lot and I wear it when I’m bike riding or working out.
