Engagement Ring while Sleeping

I take mine off when I shower, cleaning the house (like a real good deep clean), washing the dishes and sometimes when I am cooking or baking depending on what exactly I am doing.

I sleep with my ring on, I know I probably shouldn't. I do take it off when I'm cleaning, showering, cooking, and working out. I see a lot of people who aren't taking it on their honeymoons, I am taking mine. I will probably leave it in the safe in the room if we go to the beach.

I take mine off to clean, shower, yard work
The ring tends to get caught in my hair when showering. I don't want to mess up the ring with yard tools or heavy chemical cleaners.
I will need a durable wedding band for sure.

I wear mine when I sleep. I only take it off for the gym and shower. When I clean I always wear gloves. And if Depening on what I’m cooking I take it off. Haven’t been to the beach, but will take it off then too.

I take mine off when sleeping because my fingers swell up and being half awake I panick and take it off only to not remember where I put it. My mother and friend sleep with theirs on just fine though.

I don't wear mine to sleep, shower, run/ workout, or while I'm cooking/ doing dishes. But otherwise it's always on- even if we're just hanging out around the house or if I take it off for the gym and to shower, I'll put it right back on after. My finger just feels weird without it now!

When I first got engaged I took mine off for all the stuff that they tell you you should but as time passes I take it off less and less. I wear mine to sleep. I have a low set halo ring so I don’t feel it’s gonna snag or scratch myself or FW. Plus I like waking up with it on. I pretty much only take it off when I’m applying lotions and oils and stuff, for dishes or heavy cleaning, and when I’m cooking using my hands.

I take my rings off as soon as i get home. i also don't wear them to the gym, yoga, or while swimming.

I probably have my ring off more than I have it on. Like some others, I put it on when I leave and take it off when I come home. I also don't wear it to shower, sleep, clean, or cook. If I happen to have it on in the kitchen, I take it off and put it in a little bowl. The ring spends much time in a ring box on my nightstand. The only jewelry I wear all the time are my nose and cartilage rings, and I have lost both of those while sleeping - somehow get pulled out, fall next to the bed and then they're property of my cats. But I keep extras of those.

I take mine off when I clean, go to the gym and shower. I think if we went hiking, I would take it off for that too, I hate when my fingers swell up!

I take mine off and put it in my jewelry box as soon as I get home.

Sometimes I don’t wear it to sleep..sometimes I do but I take it off to workout I do CrossFit and boxing. Whatever you’re more comfortable with

I take mine off because I do not want to snag it on the sheets or injure my significant other when I move around. My fiancé bought me an adorable giraffe ring holder that sits next to my bed and I put it on that every night before I go to sleep.

I rarely wear mine. I work in a restaurant, so don't want to risk damaging it there, and I don't sleep or shower with it on either. I wear it when I go out, but otherwise it sits on a special ring dish I bought for it.

SAME GIRL SAME. I take my ring off for dishes, but then I forget to put it back on.

The struggle is too real.

I take my ring off as soon as I get home. I put it on as I'm going out the door each day. I've scratched myself and other things (or people) as well as snagged things with it. I'm afraid of damaging my ring so I don't wear it at home. It has it's own little spot where I put it if it's not on my finger. I also take it off any time I wash my hands or use hand sanitizer or lotion.

I used to leave it on almost continuously. I always took it off while showering because our tub drain is completely open and I had visions of it slipping off with soap or something. Now, I take it off to sleep, clean, and do messy tasks. I’ll let you know what I do while working out once I start working out! Lol! I bought a fake ring to travel with. I travel nationally and internationally for work and became worried about making a misstep and leaving it in a hotel room, knocking it down the drain, or getting robbed. I’m traveling now so here’s a picture of my faker!

They only time I don't wear mine is when I'm showering or baking something messy. Other than that I'm too afraid that I'll lose it.

I also have a fake ring set to travel with! I travel internationally for work, and I'm not allowed to wear any jewelry when I go into the manufacturing suite, so I would be taking it off a lot and leaving it unattended either in an office or a hotel room.

Otherwise, I take mine off to shower because it gets caught in my hair. I also take it off when I lift weights, but I leave it on for cardio. It always comes off when I'm cleaning or doing anything with chemicals.

I take it off to sleep, shower, wash dishes/cook and clean. I would never wear it to the beach either.
