Engagement ring?

I kept mine on, then right before the ring exchange I took it off and put it on the little table we had. Then after my husband put my wedding band on, I put the engagement ring back on top

I haven’t decided what I’m going to do yet. My right hand ring finger is bigger than my left so i can’t put it on my other hand (which was my first thought).
I’m probably either going to wear my engagement ring and then pull it off when it’s time to put the band on and have my fiancé put both on, or have him take it off and put them both on. I don’t want to walk down the aisle without my ring on but i guess that’s another option too 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ There’s no set rule so anything you decide will be fine but I hear ya, I don’t know what to do yet either.
But i will definitely have the engagement ring put back on immediately after the band goes on.

I think this would also depend on whether you are planning on soldering your engagement ring to your wedding band too?

I suddenly just thought about it and realized I've never seen anyone ask so I wasn't sure what to do. I'll probably have my maid of honor just hold both and after putting on my band have her give me the engagement ring to put on top.

Just wear your engagement ring and then have your FH put your band on during the ceremony. After the ceremony you can take the rings off and reverse the order (so wedding band is on the bottom) but even if you forget to I doubt anyone will notice. I think trying to slip on two rings during the ceremony is too much to worry about, so keep it simple. 😁

I am going to have mine soldered together before my wedding so that they will both go on at the same time. My band is shaped to fit my Engagement ring so I don’t want it twisting all night once put together. I have a promise ring that my FH gave me a few years before he proposed that I will wear while the jeweler is working on my other ring and I will wear the promise ring on my right hand on my wedding day.

If I was getting a band, I would walk down bare handed and then after the ceremony, put my engagement ring on top. I'll still be walking bare handed because I'm getting an enhancer instead of a band and I'll be getting my engagement ring and enhancer soldered together before the wedding. It would be pretty weird wearing an empty enhancer lol.

I am going to wear my engagement ring, and my FH will slide the wedding band on during the ceremony. It fits together. I dont think you have to remove the engagement ring or wear it on another finger. But that is up to how the rings fit together

Some people put their E ring on their right hand, some people keep it on their left hand and then FH slips the wedding ring on top of it during the ring exchange. Then later, after the ceremony you would reverse the order.

I just wore it on my right hand, where it's still residing since my band and engagement ring don't really fit together. But it was more important to me for H and I to have matching wedding bands than for my engagement ring and wedding band to match.

I wore it on my right hand and then moved it over after the ceremony.

I have debated getting a cheap silicone ring like the one I wear to work to wear while it’s getting soldered until the ceremony too

It's probably what I will do too. It always seemed funny to me that the custom is wedding ring on the bottom-when that's not the order in which they are given!

Im going to have my engagement ring on. We’re not adding a band to mine and he already wears his ring so we’re not going to do the ring exchange.

I also kept mine on
