Engagement shoot hair question

I think it would help if you had pictures of what you wanted. Based on your description, I'm not quite sure what you want.

I also have curly hair that I straighten and curl for special occasions so it's not just stick straight. I did this for my engagement photoshoot and it turned out beautiful.

I'd pin some hair back to do a half up-half down hairdo!

I would search google images for curly hairstyles. You could do a half up style with some twists or something. You could also find a fun hair clip to add a bit of pizzazz to your hair. If you're not confident in your own ability to get style your hair curly call your stylist and ask if they can style your hair in a curly style
