So I was reading another poster's discussion about reception entrance songs just now, and it got me thinking about my own choice...

I had always wanted to use Lovely Day by Bill Withers as the song for either the bridal party or my own introduction. That has been the ringtone on my phone for FH since shortly after I met him and I love the sentiment, but is it too slow/not upbeat enough? I want everyone to have a fun time and to kick off the reception the right way, but part of me wants to keep it classy too. Thoughts?

    We are coming into this is what you came for – Calvin Harris ft. Rhianna because we like BDM and dub step type of music. It is a party so we wanted to get in party mode

    I walked into a remix of marry you by Bruno Mars. It's an overplayed song but the remix made it different.

    I love this song Smiley smile

    I've watched a wedding highlight video before where they used this song over the footage. It went perfectly! Perhaps if you want to include the song somewhere, but not the reception, you could use it here if you plan on having a videographer?

    Well we are a Caribbean couple getting married in Jamaica so we will have our BP dance their way in to soca music and we are coming in to steel drums let the party begin the right way!

    Oh I like this idea! We are having a videographer so that could be a possibility. I love the song, but the more I think about it, I just thinking it might be too slow. Especially when I see what other people plan to use for their entrance songs.
