I got 200 escort cards on Vistaprint for $6. They are beautiful and they were able to custom match my colors. Just an idea to help save some $.

Escort cards with table number and entrée selection since meals will be picked during the RSVP phase. Once they're to the table, they can sit where they'd like!

No seating chart for my wedding. I went to a wedding that had a seating chart and I was seated next to co-workers I dont like

Both! We are doing a map of fantasy worlds for our seating chart so people get the names of the tables but they will also be getting escort ornaments which will have a symbol/picture on it that matches the story that is set in that world. For example Winne the Pooh and friends for the Hundred Acres Woods table.

Only tables will be assigned though - the chart will help with location of the tables in the room since they wont be numbered and each will be from a different story so they will be next to each other on the map in the same way they are in the room.

I like the look of the escort cards but a seating chart is easier

Escort cards. We're making the escort cards look like the comic books the table numbers are.

We haven't really decided, but I'm really leaning towards a massive seating chart. I think it'd be simpler, honestly. And folks can look at the chart on their way past the buffet...or wherever we end up putting it - it'll be before the tables...don't know about before or after the food. Maybe both?! Who knows. Just some place convenient that goes with the flow. :-)

We are doing assigned tables because our venue wants us to.
We are going to use glass vases with the table number and names written on them.

They will have escort cards. This was the easier way to go just because we had to denote who got which kind of meal (there are 3 options) as well as who got which kind of dessert (there are 3 pie options). Having the place cards allowed us to do this more easily.

Escort cards! We have a smaller guest count so I’ll have an Etsy vendor do calligraphy 😊

I honestly just don't want to deal with the hassle of making a seating chart. I also didn't want assigned tables either. I think we will either have escort cards made with two colors for our caterer to know who wanted which meat (we are doing a plated meal with two options) and let everyone pick where they want to sit or assign tables and still do the escort card thing.

Escort cards. I have too many guests to leave it up to chance and need to make sure certain people are at certain tables.
