Who here has a eternity band as their wedding ring? Do you love it? Is it easy to wear everyday all day?

So I do not have an eternity wedding band. But I did consider one. First of all I think they are beautiful! If you do end up choosing one the look of it will not be a problem! However I did find there too be a few issues with me personally having one.

    A) Since the stones go all the way around, I worried the stones would get banged around at work too much. I have a very hands on job as well as hobbies. I know I’m constantly crashing the bottom of my engagement ring against things so I would assume I’d do the same with an eternity band. That being said others might not even have this problem

    B) They cannot be resized.
    C) They’re more expensive for stones/designs that people cannot see. I ended up choosing a higher carat weight partial band instead. To me it felt like more band for my buck.
Overall, if that is what you want absolutely to for it! They are beautiful! I just felt like something else fit me and my lifestyle a little better 😊

I am not a fan of eternity bands for the same reasons Savannah mentioned. They are not very comfortable, as the stones rub against your fingers, and they cannot be resized. Plus they are more susceptible to wear and tear. I have a half-way around band, which gives the same effect from above. My mom is a jewelry wholesaler and actually steers friends and family away from eternity bands because the extra diamonds at the bottoms just aren't worth it.

Save some money and do a half band. That’s what I did and it gives the same effect. It’s a LOT cheaper and nobody can see the stones on the bottom anyway. Besides, you can resize it if you need to if it’s a half band (true eternity bands you can’t) and you won’t have to worry about damaging the stones on the underside.

We just purchased our bands and I really wanted an eternity band. However I ended up going with a band with diamonds on half of the band because of all the reasons previous posters said. I also got my band sized a little bit smaller so it won’t twist and show the side without the diamonds.

I fell in love with mine. I don’t do any work with my hands, I always remove al jewelry at the gym but we already got it. I’m just worried that every day wear I might bang it. It’s such a sentimental ring to me With just everything about it with how we found it with what it represents the eternity band being you know representing love for the rest of your life and forever and ever ending and all that stuff but I am somebody who wants to wear my wedding band all the time so I’m just worried that I might damage it and I don’t know I feel bad even telling my fiancé that if we can look into returning or exchanging because it just really makes me feel horrible that we didn’t have time to really look and I loved it it’s beautiful and stunning

I love the look but don't love the poke. The prongs on eternity bands will always poke your fingers on either side. I opted for a 5 stone & due to the size of my fingers went with a 2 carat band. The band is smooth against my fingers & I have a ton of bling to pair with my solitaire.
