It kind of sucks how all these apps and wedding resources aren’t any help if you aren’t doing a White wedding. It’s almost impossible in my area to find a nice location that will allow you to hire and ethic caterer while also using their in house catering service. And I’m now realizing these wedding y’all prices are pretty outrageous for very basic things. Feeling defeated especially since it seems no one really cares about what i need or want.

That’s odd since my friend said she can. They’re ordering the food in, and it’s all Asian food (thai and lao). I’ll have to ask my cousin about the hall she got married at and get back to you.

Its called
Macedonian Church Event Hall. It's not an actual church but I think they have one next to it. It's a big hall they use for Bingo but when you go in you have to set it up yourself. We brought table cloths and uplighting, dimmed the lights and decorated the ceiling to make it look more formal.
You're able to bring any food and alcohol!

Also try Dixon Quarry it's somewhat outdoors and a park shelter, cute place. It's in Obetz. They have an indoor event hall but I haven't been inside it but they may allow outside food since it's own by the town.

I’m having my Nigerian ceremony at the The Ohio School for the Deaf Alumni Association in Westerville. It’s huge, affordable, and allows outside caterers and alcohol. A lot of Nigerians have their Traditional weddings there due to those reasons and several have both their Traditional and American weddings there.

Also check out the point on the park. It’s a new venue downtown. I’ve never been there but it’s huge, modern, affordable and I would’ve looked at it for my American wedding if I hadn’t already booked a venue. They allow outside catering but alcohol has to go through them.
