Etsy Veil

Bianca, on April 14, 2016 at 6:30 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 34

So I know that this is the only time in life you will ever wear a veil, but I'm having a hard time justifying some of these $300 veil prices. I found a vendor on Etsy with great reviews with veils under $100. Has anyone else bought a veil or accessories from Etsy for their wedding and do you have vendor recommendations?

    I ordered mine from custom veils, but I won't get it for a couple of weeks.

    I ordered mine from a lady on etsy and it's beautiful! I'll check for the name of the shop.

    I bought my veil on Etsy for $43. It arrived and matches my ivory dress perfectly. I love it!

    I bought a simple, diamond white, elbow length cut edge, sheer fullness (54" wide) veil sewed to a silver comb from Etsy's shop "WESTERNBRIDE" for $16 USD including shipping.

    How do they match the color? Or does it not need to be direct match? I wanted to order from etsy for a bolero and a veil but got concerned since mine is "soft white" from David's bridal

    I ordered mine from Simply Blue Bridal on etsy. It's beautiful and very high quality. I told her what I wanted and she did a custom. It was about $90. My alterations lady said she would have charged $200 to make that veil. I'm very pleased with it.

    Mine has silver seed beads sewn around the entire edge.

    Wow thank you everyone. I'm going to look into all of these vendors. I'm also interested in a broche type hair piece. Has anyone gotten a good deal on that from Etsy?

    I ordered mine on Etsy. Its really pretty but the lace didn't match with my dress. I cut the lace off and its still beautiful. I'm thinking of beading it but we'll see how well that goes. I have a cathedral length veil an a week to go! lol

    @Kahtleen Not really...

    I ordered my veil not from Etsy, but from Amazon. It was about $30. It was almost EXACTLY like the one I wanted from DB that was $149.

    Give it a go! Smiley smile

    I ordered my veil on Etsy from Alexbridal, a mantilla veil with a lace edge in ivory. The color was dead on with my dress and it was under $100. My only issue with it was that the veil came folded in plastic packaging, so I had to let it hang for a bit and then steam it to get the creases out. But, it was a minor issue.

    I got mine from ebay for less than $20. This is one of the things that I just don't care to spend much money on.

    I just ordered mine off Etsy last week from BlancaVeils and am currently waiting for it to arrive in a couple weeks. This store had over 2,000 reviews, and the shop owner was super responsive when I sent her pics of my dress to see which veil would work best. I spent $90 with shipping for a chapel length lace veil.

    It came today! It is so pretty!! (I'm a little excited!) I'd be wearing it if FH weren't home. He absolutely doesn't want to see it.

    The seller is WesternBride, email is **************@*********.***. I paid $45.98 with shipping. The entire edge is hand sewn with crystals giving it just enough sparkle.
