Etsy Veil

So I know that this is the only time in life you will ever wear a veil, but I'm having a hard time justifying some of these $300 veil prices. I found a vendor on Etsy with great reviews with veils under $100. Has anyone else bought a veil or accessories from Etsy for their wedding and do you have...

I just ordered one from CoutureBrideBoutique for $68.00 (including shipping) Its a fingertip veil with blusher. Just what i was looking for and they have 5 star reviews. The one in the bridal salon was $199.00 and thats just crazy to me.

My mom made hers for her wedding and spent $50 on it. do you know anyone who sews or a local seamstress that could help? i couldn't justify that either which is why I'm thinking about using my moms as it turned out lovely, however I want an outdoor ceremony and I may not even wear a veil because: wind

    I purchased one from EllieLaneBridal.

All I wanted was a floor length tulle veil with a raw edge and my bridal salon tried to sell me one for $100 and I paid $30 on etsy.

The only semi-negative thing was that I ordered the veil in ivory because my dress is supposedly ivory as well, but the veil ended up being a little more cream than my dress. But I've tried it on and it still looks okay; realistically I am probably the only person that will actually notice any difference.

From a previous post, Bed, bath and beyond sells veils online too. I don't remember who posted it but they were happy with it.

Well because of this post, I just ordered a $12 ivory lace veil from Amazon. I needed to get it done anyway so this is a good thing. If it's not good quality then it was only $12 but if it is, and it has good reviews, then score! I just got a deal!

I also got a $6 veil from AliExpress. Shorter for the reception but it's white instead of the Ivory I ordered. For $6 it's not worth returning

I purchased my veil here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/VeilsofArt. It's wonderful! prices there are very nice, and you can get a professional advice and designer will make your own veil.

I inquired about a veil with WESTERNBRIDE and then sent a second email replying to hers about a lesser priced veil...she did not reply back EVER. WESTERNBRIDE apparently only communicates with the consumer if she feels its worth her time. So, I'll most likely purchase from YuriCWeddingShop as she has fantastic reviews and isn't so picky about what she's selling.

Beautiful. I was going to order from her, but the shop owner never replied to my message when I asked about a lower priced veil, after she quoted me for a more expensive one...apparently since I wasn't going to purchase the $200 veil, I wasn't worth her time..

I've bought a ton of stuff from Etsy, both supplies and finished goods. I haven't bought a veil because I'm making my own. The truth is, they're dead easy. A lot of what you're paying for in salons is the expensive lace. A lot of Etsy veils are made with cheaper Chinese made lace, which frankly still looks pretty good. (I'm making mine with Chinese lace.) I'd feel completely comfortable ordering, the only thing I'd make sure of is that it's a metal comb, not plastic.
