Eucalyptus Centerpieces & Cake Garland

Amy, on June 7, 2016 at 11:31 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11

Hi everyone,

I want silver dollar eucalyptus as part of my centerpieces. I also want a garland around the bottom of my cake. Any suggestions where I could find this online? Most silk eucalyptus has an obvious plastic stem. Just looking for ideas Smiley smile thanks!

    Why not real? I had those in my centerpieces! Shouldn't be an expensive greenery! Smiley smile contact some florists and see what the price would be! Or even they a wholesale flowers place that sells to the public.

    There are many online floral delivery services that offer this type of plant for fairly economical prices. It's pretty hardy too, so you wouldn't need to stress about it dying. Martha Stewart has a good tutorial for putting it together, and there are many others on Pinterest. (I was considering this too!) this is one of them that I liked - http://pin.it/Ax2AZCy

    Eta - Fifty flowers is the online florist, or even Costco might have it?

    Beautiful! I wish I could have Eucalyptus! It's a native here in AUS and super cheap, unfortunately my Dad is allergic!

    I'd go with the real version though!

    If you use live, be careful as the smell can be very strong.

    @Christina those are beautiful!

    I love live eucalyptus but it does have a strong minty-ish(?) smell to it. I actually love the smell too!

    Michael's sells dried eucalyptus that is still so beautiful and the smell isn't as strong.

    I used Blooms by the Box (online) for my greenery and they had that. It is very economical!!

    Thanks everyone! Didn't consider allergies at all. Maybe a dried version would be safer
