Eucalyptus Garland

Nikki, on February 21, 2020 at 8:11 PM Posted in Style and Décor 1 12
Hey ladies/ gents! My venue has rectangular farmhouse tables, and I am looking to do faux eucalyptus table runners. I want them more on the full side, and prefer the seeded. The most reasonable place I’ve found so far, is renting them from Something Borrowed Blooms ($20 for 6ft). Has anyone been able to find anything cheaper? I’ve already browsed amazon, Michaels, & hobby lobby. Eucalyptus Garland 1

I am using faux greenery as our centerpiece “florals” on the long table. I got mine at Hobby Lobby, and they always have 40% off coupons you can use.

I've been on the hunt too! I think the best deal I've seen so far is when Hobby Lobby does 50% off florals every couple weeks (I think they're doing it this week too!). It takes the price down to $10 for 6 ft. (or like $12 for 6 ft of seeded).

That’s the best deal I can find as well! I think I’m going to buy 2 for each table & twist them together so it’s more full, and then try to re-sell them after my wedding!

Believe it or not, I found really gorgeous eucalyptus garland on Amazon. I spent $17.99 a piece for a 6ft garland and they even had white pumpkins & gourds- which went perfect with my theme!

Garland is super expensive unfortunately, which is why we decided not to go that route even though we love the look. I only considered real garland, and the cheapest I found was about $10/foot, which would have cost us $800-$1000 in just garland for our reception. We opted to just do mixed bud vases and flower arrangements instead. Good luck!

I’m not sure if any of you that are looking live near AC Moore (I’m in PA), but they’re going out of business and I got 15 6ft garlands today for 60% off! They came down to $10 each (originally $25!). They’re very full, I love them!! Also got 35 candlesticks for $6 to go on my tables as well! Highly recommended taking a trip there if you’re close enough!

First, I am SO jealous that your venue has farm tables. I want them so bad, but I would have to rent them & they rent out about $100+ per table Smiley sad

Second, I know you said faux, but a lot of people I talked to have gotten live greenery from Costco for a reasonable price. Not sure if there's a Costco or something similar near you, but might be something to consider if you can't find any faux. I haven't priced anything out yet (lucked out with my grandpa being a florist) so I'm not exactly sure of the cost.

Otherwise, I would keep an eye on the Amazon ones because Amazon's prices fluctuate all day, so at 8am it might be $20, but at 10:45am it may drop to $16. My sister in law shops at Hobby Lobby all the time & she is always telling me that they let you stack coupons. So you can use a Michaels, Joann's & Hobby Lobby coupon all in one purchase!
