Event coordinator and hotel manager ghosting us

Jen, on April 26, 2022 at 1:13 AM Posted in Planning 0 2
So, we’re getting married in a month at a Marriott hotel and the hotel’s event coordinator is a nightmare. He doesn’t listen, will gas light me, and it takes 6 emails to get the smallest thing done.
We hit our limit when we found out they set up the html link to our room block so badly that none of our guests have been able to specify if they’re getting a room with one bed or two. The coordinator basically said, they get what they get when they check in. What?!?! So we got a manager involved and he sent one email saying to fix the link and fix all the reservations to have the correct number of beds and our coordinator said, nope, we’re out of rooms with 2 beds (which they’re not, we checked the website). The manager hasn’t said anything since we emailed saying this needs to be fixed! What in the world can we do?

Sounds so frustrating. Have you tried to go there and speak to someone? Perhaps another Manager that can help? Try finding out who is at the top of the chain and explain that your wedding is upcoming and you need proper assistance.

Yes maybe you both need to go to the hotel when the other manger who you originally was working with and see a different one and address your concerns with your evidence and show them what you have been dealing with and as for your coordinator really needs to be spoken to if he plans on getting paid for lack of there professionalism. I hope that everything works out
