Excellence Oyster Bay, Zoetry Punta Cana, or Secrets Capa Cana

Hello lovely people, has anyone experienced one of these resorts or known someone who has? They're currently in my top 3 for honeymoon all-inclusives. I'm so far leaning towards Secrets because I couldn't find any negative reviews! All 3 resorts have great complimentary honeymoon packages and they're within our budget to be able to stay a full week while still treating ourselves to a nice room. I really wish we could visit beautiful St Lucia but I can't find a resort beachside that we can afford to stay a week at. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I haven't stayed at those particular resorts, but I have stated at other Secrets and Excellence properties. I prefer Excellence over Secrets (higher quality food and service) but both are great and both are adult only. A note about Zoetry is that, while they don't cater to children, they are not adults only. If you want Punta Cana, both Excellence properties (El Carmen and Punta Cana) are lovely. El Carmen is actually where I went for my honeymoon.

Excellence in Punta Cana is Outstanding! We had the two story suite with private rooftop pool. We always stay there whenever we travel to The DR. You won’t be sorry.

Zoetry is where to go if you are a foodie, hands down. However, it’s also a very calm, serene vibe there. So if you’re looking for something with a little more nightlife, you might want to check out Secrets.

Oh no we definitely want chill and calm. I had seen mixed reviews about Zoetry, especially around mosquitoes. I feel like bugs in a tropical climate are a given but since they were in so many reviews it made me worry. We get bitten a lot. 😳 But otherwise Zoetry looked the most beautiful and before reading rhe reviews I was really excited!

Secrets is amazing. Zoetry a close second. Either way you are going to be in a beautiful location.

That's great to hear! Did you experience bad mosquitoes with Zoetry? Of course in that climate I expect a little but there were a number of TripAdvisor reviews about it that it was especially bad while other resorts had no problems.
