Get your passports now....when when I had to renew mine 2 years ago it was ridiculous and got sent back requesting more information....basically everything but a promise to give up first born child. I sent out my information the day before Thanksgiving, got it sent back right before Christmas but had a passport in my hand the beginning of February.

Other than I don't have much info for you...FH and I aren't big fans of Mexico (but I would go to Riviera Maya rather than Cancun)

Yeah, passports are definitely on the list but getting the information for mine will be difficult. They ask for former spouse's birth date and place as well as the same information for your parents. I've tried to forget my ex's information and I don't know my parents' so this will be a challenge.

Depends on when you go to Cancun Valarie...in May and Sept you are safe and there are no kids or spring breakers at Le Blanc ever. ?

Secrets Maroma has a nicer beach, however Excellence is also an amazing resort!

We are staying at the Secrets Silversands resort in Riviera Maya!! We chose Secret over Excellence due to cost and "feel". We chose Silversands over Maroma based on price and that Silversands had more restaurant and bar options.
