Excited for Pie Display!

Ooh how pretty. Are you also making the pies, or buying them? What type will you have?

I myself LOVE a good cherry pie, and also peach pies, both of which are very hard to come by in Australia. I'm living in the wrong country!

We are pretty much inviting everyone that’s coming to the wedding, since it’s kind of a destination wedding for everyone but my fiancé and I. We wanted to show our guests a little bit of our local favorites so we are getting them from our favorite pie place We are holding it at our favorite brewery (haha the owners called us friends of the brewery the other day so we get all these discounts 🤣) and our favorite BBQ place. As for the pies, we were having the following in mind: Apple Pie (because Fall!), Chocolate Pecan (my fiancé’s favorite), Gooseberry (my future MIL’s favorite), Minced Meat (my future FIL’s favorite), Strawberry Rhubarb (my favorite), Gooey Butter (it’s a local fave), and the Peanut Butter Mousse. We will probably double or triple up on certain ones

Oh daaaaamn! Brewery and pie?! This sounds like the kind of event I'd love to come to, haha! gooseberry and strawberry rhubarb sound amazing, and I've never tried chocolate pecan but it sounds SO GOOD. And gooey butter sounds heavenly too. I'm sure your guests will love it if they're anything like me!

Honestly, we are both more excited for this rehearsal dinner/welcome party than our actual wedding. The brewery has a beautiful view on hole 6 of their disc golf course and we considered just putting a wedding arch and a bunch of chairs there lol. But, alas, my mom wants something more formal but that’s okay. I love the little Chapel we are getting married at!
