Anyone super excited for their first month married? Me and my husband will be celebrating in 2 day of being married for a month and I want to know others opinions.

We went out for a 1-month anniversary dinner and it was so fun NOT to be stressed about wedding planning. The nice restaurant treated us to a glass of champagne. We’ve been married 2+ years and are still pretty giddy.

What’s your favorite part about being married?

Aw that's super cute. My husband and I were on our honeymoon when it was our one month actually.

    Ours is also on Tuesday!

So, of course, DH has to work and cover a game (one of his gigs is sportswriting). Ah, well.

We'll be cute about it on social media and maybe go get ice cream.

It's great being married, but we do feel like everything fell apart:

    1. The window a/c unit likes to leak lots of water for no reason.

    2. The tub faucet nearly wiped DH out when he turned on the water last Monday. Had to call a plumber in.

    3. DH's computer died the sad mac kind of thing and is currently getting doctored by Apple.

    4. We had an argument that ended up triggering me (by accident) about my abusive mother today. (DH feels terrible about this, I'll be fine, just a rough day.)

    5. His IDs are still messed up (his bday was RIGHT after our wedding), so we haven't been able to open bank accounts/book the honeymoon/etc.

    6. Our teams are losing at an amazing pace! (We had the sports themed wedding.)

    7. Still haven't figured out insurance stuff and we are running out of time!

Things are good, though, so long as the house isn't falling apart...

I'm right there with you. We have been hit with crazy amount of Bill's and getting things all switched. I haven't had a day off from work since the wedding and so we are stressing about changing things over. We have had arguments, over house bot being cleaned or our dogs, but it's due to the work aspect. Things are good tho we are still super happy and know that this is all temporary stress. I cant wait till we buy a house. We choose to not have a honey moon due to wanting to find a place. But all things are well set aside the hiccups.

Yeah, we postponed because of our jobs, too.
Work is ridiculously busy for me, his job is super early... no more wedding stress - but all the things we neglected in the apartment coming back to bite us!!

Everyone asks "how is it being married now?" Our answer: The same.

To us, nothing has changed, we just happen to have rings and a paper that say " YOUR MARRIED." It's been 5 months now, and I still say the same thing, but to tell you the truth, I would't want it any other way. We're like old married couples that have been together for 50+ years, but in much younger healthier bodies, ha! with a bit more adventure on our side, ha!
