I’m wondering how reasonable it is to expect to have an outdoor wedding with reception, ceremony, photographer, DJ, buffet style food, open bar, and 75 guests in Central Jersey during the pandemic for $20,000 or less?

We are considering all options as long as they allow for outdoor reception and ceremony, and a dance floor. Am I insane in thinking we can do this?

    Woah that is definitely doable. I would even feel comfortable being able to achieve that with $15,000.

    Folks generally seem to think this is possible. I suppose my follow-up question would be to ask for recommendations on a venue? We're near the Jersey shore

    That's 100% do-able price-wise. However, availability may be a different story. I got married in Central NJ last year with 115 guests, 3 course plated dinner, etc. for about $23k. This was pre-pandemic, however. With the pandemic, you'll just have a hard time finding venues with availability with so many people rescheduling.
