Don't forget to use Ebates with it, Expedia is on there and you get usually 10-15% back in cash if you have Ebates activated.

I already booked just that I wanted to know I wasn't the only one and unfortunately I don't have an Ebates account. But I feel that I still got a pretty good deal.

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage, Aury! Just some great info for the future, use a travel agent for something as important as your honeymoon or any vacation travel. A travel agent will provide you with personalized service, not an impersonal, outsourced call center. And if anything goes awry, you will have an advocate on your side whom you can contact for assistance. And best of all, most travel agents do not charge for their professional services - so you don't have to sacrifice great service for great value.

We booked our up coming honeymoon on Expedia. We did so because, for starters they have amazing deals and secondly we have purchased a few vacation packages from them and we have had no issues with our flights or hotel stay. If u don't mind me asking when and where are u guys going ?

We did! It has been great. We booked ours about 10 months out and all our flights changed, all we had to do was call them and they fixed everything!

I've always used Expedia for big trips and plan to do so for my honeymoon. They've been great. Sometimes in the past, they've even gotten me refunds for things that are listed as non-refundable.

Public Service Announcement: You may not have seen the recent Good Morning America segment where a woman who booked her vacation through Expedia months in advance, had her vacation CANCELLED by Expedia, because, as they explained, the hotel was overbooked. In the beginning, they offered her no compensation and no refund (which is in their terms and conditions when you book, so legally, you really would have no recourse). This woman spent 6 hours total on the phone fighting with Expedia, and finally got a replacement hotel (inferior) to the one she booked and an Expedia travel voucher.

Again, this is where using a travel agent is invaluable. I've booked thousands of hotels and resorts for my clients and never had one cancelled for overbooking as I use reputable companies and I work your YOU as YOUR advocate. In the event you did have a problem, I fight for you with the connections that I have on the inside - you don't have to spend hours on the phone dealing with an outsourced call center in a faraway country where they really don't care about you.

Just Google Good Morning America and Expedia, and you'll find the video and story. Don't leave the most important trip of your life to people who don't care and who are not experts in their field!

I have booked ALL my flights through expedia/orbitz, I love it. I have never booked hotels/cruises/excursions, but for flying they've been lovely never any issues!
