Extensions for Wedding?

Anna, on January 16, 2020 at 4:05 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 6

Wondering if any of you got extensions for your hair? I've never worn them before and feel like they would be helpful for my wedding hair regardless of what style I chose. I'd really like them for the volume. If you used them for your wedding- was it worth it? did they feel weird (heavy)? I am looking at Luxy hair.

Thanks!

    Hi Anna!

So I haven't gotten married yet but I am super experienced with clip-in extensions. I've worn Luxy Hair extensions for the best two years (bought three sets) and I've done a brides hair using Luxy Hair. I absolutely love them! I've tried cheaper extensions because Luxy's are a little pricey but you really can't beat the quality of their extensions. My best advice if you're looking for volume is to not try and get the fullest extensions they offer. I would probably go with 120 or 140 gram extensions because the 160 grams and up start looking a little too thick and unnatural. Also, If you properly place the clips, they don't feel heavy at all. I buy their seamless collection and they feel a lot lighter than traditional extensions. Just my opinion, good luck!

I personally don’t recommend them, but that’s just me. I’ve had them before and I hated them, they were so uncomfortable and itchy.

I did! I did milk & blush clip in extensions and I loved them. They are great quality and looked really good all day. I got the longest & thickest ones and they didn't feel heavy at all. I wore them at the bachelorette & rehearsal dinner to get used to them, but they really let me have "pinterest" hair and I was so happy with them!

Yes. That is what I’m planning on getting. Nothing wrong with wanting your hair a little thicker for your wedding. 🤗
