Extra Invites to Mickey, Cinderella, and The President

I know Mickey and the president. Never heard of Cinderella too

Yea, apparently Cinderella will send a button and a certificate. I've heard conflicting addresses for her though. I also read that Disney will only send you one or the other not both.

That does sound like them, damn internet.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to do it. I know that for Mickey and Minnie they no longer send the cute signed photo - which we totally would have framed in our Disney World photo hallway. They send a cheap postcard that looks like it's for kids and would probably end up in a box, or at best wedding album. If you search it you can find pictures. I think it goes with a lot of Disney things, that once people started finding out about it (thanks Pinterest!) they stopped doing it.

As for the president, not really sure!

Update: FH says we're doing it (Mickey/Minne, Cinderella, president) because we have a box of extra invites from vistaprint since the first box got kind of wrecked. It'll probably take 2 months, but I'll let you know what I get back!

I wonder if they still give a Just Married button. It would def be worth it for that. We already have a Just Engaged and Happily Ever After. Would love to complete the collection from Disney.

I know they give a Just Married button if you go there for your honeymoon. I don't think you even have to prove it, just say that you're there on honeymoon when you enter the gates, and they give you one. LOL.

Someone recently told me they sent a thank you note to Yuengling Lager, because they served kegs of lager and they got a bunch of cool stuff in the mail.

That's def true. We got a just engaged button after telling a little fib that it just happened. We were really engaged for a year already.

I had a friend invite the president to their wedding, and they did get a boilerplate type response!! Something like we sincerely appreciate the invite, we regret the president will not be able to attend but best wishes in the future....that letter was worth framing and posting by the guestbook area.

I'm going to send a couple out tomorrow. I think this will be a good test to make sure that I have enough postage too. I'll keep everyone posted on what happens.

Cute idea! Back in the day, my aunt wrote a letter to Princess Diana because her wedding was on the same day, and I want to say she got a letter in response. Not actually from Diana, of course, but still a cute keepsake.
