Fabric options for lining a sheer bodice?

Sam, on August 12, 2021 at 4:20 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3
Hello, I have a wedding gown that has a sheer bodice with overlaying appliqué lace/beading. I am wanting to add something to the bodice to cover up the cups while lessening the contrast from the ivory crepe skirt. I don’t want to line the bodice with the same ivory crepe, but instead line it with something that instead of making it white and losing all the detail, lessen the contrast while still covering cups. Has anyone done the or seen this done? I’m worried it may be too difficult to do

The dress I am looking at has a sparkle tulle. I am going they can use the fabric from the hem to line my front to hide the cups. That way you can see the detail but not the cupa

I agree on tulle. You can ask them to build up layers of the tulle until it reaches a level of coverage that you are comfortable with!
