Face painter

Dessa, on January 12, 2021 at 8:50 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 10
What do you guys thing about having a face painter come for the kids at the reception? Is it tacky? We’re having a lot of kids at our wedding due to most of our family living out of state. I think the kids would love it but I don’t want to come off with too much of a carnival vibe we’re having a rustic glam wedding.

I’d definitely make sure that the face painter is taking Covid precautions like sanitizing paint brushes between each kid, and making sure in advance that parents are ok with it

Sounds fun. You may even have a few adults participate too. It would give kids something to do when they aren't dancing. Plus..the painter can use setting spray to keep it from getting on clothes.

I would be concerned with paint getting on your dress or someone else's clothes. Or even any linens you may be renting.

For me that would be a definite no with Covid.

    Yeah, this.

Face painting is FUN, and I'd totally be in line with the kids... except that I'd be in fancy clothes and worried about stains.

I immediately thought of carnival when you mentioned it... I personally would not due to the reasons mentioned above... but if that’s what you want - then go for it!

No, with COVID, I wouldn't recommend that.

I wouldnt , it says more for a birthday party, but a cute idea would to have a kids corner or table with lower chairs, coloring books, bride and groom print outs to keep them busy.
