Facebook Event

Hi all!

My husband and I got married in March of last year. We were obviously unable to have the wedding and reception we had planned and rescheduled for September. Unfortunately, our September date also had to be rescheduled due to COVID but we are currently scheduled to have our reception at the end of June. We have already sent out traditional paper invitations twice....I’m wondering if it would be horrible to create a Facebook event page and invite everyone through that for the third attempt. We are also thinking of sending text message invitations through Paperless Post but I know some family members may not fully understand those or RSVP through them. We have a wedding website that allows RSVPs there as well. We are just so burnt out and totally over planning and replanning our wedding so many times😂
Any idea what the etiquette would be here? What would you guys do? Thanks in advance!

I like the Paperless Post idea. One of my bridesmaid's did that for one of my showers and it worked well. I think if you do Paperless Post and have them RSVP through your website, that would be perfect.

The Facebook event isn't a bad idea. I just prefer the Paperless Post option.

I agree with Meghan - I prefer the Paperless Post option! Facebook sends a ton of emails & notifications so I worry I'd miss your invite!!

I think an email invitation (through somewhere like Paperless Post) that directs to your wedding website to RSVP would be perfect! 💌
